Blind Date Sidney

Back in the 90s when Do-Do Man was co-created by my partner, Sarah Sier and myself, one of the enjoyments was to introduce Sidney into the comic book. Following on from the recently shown four page strip, the character, (co-created by writer, Andrew Wooding and my good self) went on to his next four page strip entitled, Blind Date Sidney. As with Do-Do Man, he exists in the fictitious city of Shefferham, an amalgamation of Sheffield and Rotherham of South Yorkshire. This titanic tale involves our Sidney encountering joke shops, Cilla Black's Blind Date Show to evil aliens. Well, it seemed to make sense at the time! All good fun.
