Blast From The Past! Beano and Dandy Library Books.

My first introduction to the world of DC Thomson & Co. was way back in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Apart from getting the chance of working on the weekly Beano comic, I found myself involved with the Beano and Dandy Comic Library Books. The digest sized comic series format was 64 pages per issue, this featuring full solo characters of themed stories. It was a wonderfull chance to get to draw a variety of the characters ranging from Desperate Dan, Minnie the Minx, Korky the Cat to Roger the Dodger, Bash St. Kids, Smasher, etc.
