CATS! Can't live with them, can't live without them!

Way back in April 1979, I managed to get my first break at producing daily cartoon strips, this was with the Bradford Telegraph and Argus provincial newspaper where I produced the MATT cartoon strip, this running for six years, later to appear in yet another provincial newspaper, The Manchester Evening News. It was November 1984 when the characters of Matt and Humph the Cat would appear in Transformers Comic from Marvel UK. This was a fun time as it allowed me to both create and take them in a brand new direction. Some years later, I had the pleasure of working with fellow artist, Jesus Barony in producing a new Humph the Cat strip, appearing in award winning digital comic, ACES WEEKLY, vol: 17 and 18. Looking back to those years, I've taken the liberty of posting a selection of pics relating to that time, hoping that you'll enjoy them as much as I did producing them. In closing, I've included a couple of pics of the original Humph that the cartoon was based on.
