Golden Age Tick 2, Up, Up and Away page 4

Back in 2002, the guys at New England Comics decided to publish The Tick's Golden Age Comic, this done as an homage to the wonderful Golden Age years of 1941-1945. Produced with an acknowledgment, reverence and of course a great deal of fun, we see The Tick's involvement in World War II. Attached are three pages taken from the chapter entitled, Up, Up and Away. This was another one of those times when I enjoyed working with artist, Kevin Atkinson.

  1. Just doing flat colours looks really great on this.

  2. Sincere thanks for the kind words. I seem to remember at the time that they were wanting the comic to have that feel of the 1940s onwards. Was good fun!
