The chase is on when poor Gromit's homing pigeons, well...don't come home! Discovering them in the window of the local West Wallaby pet shop, it's time for the pals to put together a rescue mission!

Equally, for your pleasure and entertainment, I've included the pencils showing some of the amends relating to these strips. These can often vary from a complete panel change to something small.

Mr Custa comic book, colour cover

As mentioned in a August posting, artwork has begun on the new Mr Custa comic book, a tale with a strong entertaining retro feel. Whilst originally created as a set of characters for a variety of radio stories, they have started the move into the highly visual world of comics. Whilst I have had the pleasure of producing both the pencils and inks for the cover artwork (as shown in the August postings), I was thrilled to have firstclass artist, John Burns to do the colour. Apart from someone I admire, John has equally coloured my artwork on various Shaun the Sheep comics, also the Wallace and Gromit daily cartoon strips appearing in The Sun newspaper.
"My sincere thanks, John."
