The Tick Color 3 page 1
Once in awhile I like to look back on the various licensed characters that I've had the pleasure of working on, not to mention those that have certainly produced a great deal of fun and enjoyment to do. Without question, The Tick is one of those at the top of my list, therefore, I simply wanted to share some sample pages taken from The Tick Color #3, beginning with page 1.

Wallace and Gromit 'Twas (Another) Night Before Christmas pencils Day 1 and 2
On a personal note, I have to admit that this was a real joy to produce. Whilst the script takes up the same theme as last years W&G story, i.e. The Night Before Christmas, this time is involves the duo rushing to assist the big man himself, namely Santa.

Introducing The Tick page 1
A few years ago, whilst I had the pleasure of working on 11 Tick books, I always look back with a smile and say, "Yep, that was fun!". I've taken the liberty of showing just a few sample pages from the title, Introducing The Tick, in which our hero appears on the City's hottest show, Is This Your Life?
This was also another one of those moments when I got the chance to work with artist, Kevin Atkinson. Please could I urge you to check out his artwork, neat stuff!

Mr Custa comic book, colour cover
As mentioned in a August posting, artwork has begun on the new Mr Custa comic book, a tale with a strong entertaining retro feel. Whilst originally created as a set of characters for a variety of radio stories, they have started the move into the highly visual world of comics. Whilst I have had the pleasure of producing both the pencils and inks for the cover artwork (as shown in the August postings), I was thrilled to have firstclass artist, John Burns to do the colour. Apart from someone I admire, John has equally coloured my artwork on various Shaun the Sheep comics, also the Wallace and Gromit daily cartoon strips appearing in The Sun newspaper.
"My sincere thanks, John."
