The Tick Big Xmas Trilogy 3 page 1
One of the pleasures of producing artwork on various comic book and strip titles is that you get to work along with some good artists and nice guys in the industry. I was pleased to be involved in both The Tick Big Xmas Trilogy 1 and 3 because of the chance to work yet again with artist, Kevin Atkinson. The published pages that follow are just a few taken from that third issue, in which I drew the pencils and Kevin was the inker. Colour produced in-house at New England Comics. Hope that you enjoy them.

Do-Do Man the series #3
As we continue our look at the Psychotic Protagonist, Do-Do Man, we move on to issue 3 in the series. Created by my partner, Sarah Sier and myself back in 1993, in this issue we find him entering the world of kidnapped movie actors and a new villain, namely The Tripe Man! We also see ex-clients of St. Christopher's psychiatric unit running their new fruit and veg shop called, Fruit 'N' Nutters, and his old enemy, The Manager takes over the psychiatric unit. All good fun! This is a story we could only call, Tricyclics, Tv and Tripery! Well, we could have called it something else at the time, but it sounded good anyhow.

Humph the Cat in Shefferham
Following his origin in the Matt daily cartoon strips back in 1979, (see Blast from the Past: Matt cartoon strips 1979/80), Humph the Cat has appeared a number of times in various publications, this ranging from UK provincial newspapers, the Bradford Telegraph & Argus, the Manchester Evening News to comic book, Do-Do Man #4. The following four pages were produced as a kind of prequel to the more recently produced 23 page adventure, which takes up where the storyline back in the 1980s left off in Transformers UK comic.
