This is a non-commissioned piece of artwork, simply done for the fun and enjoyment of it. I might have been having a lemon tea and some apple turnovers at the time!

Have A Try, Malachi

A storyline reflecting the life of little guy, Malachi. Humour very much in the style of 'Life Of Brian', shows how hopeful inventor, Malachi lives next door to Jesus and his parents. The problems begin when one by one, his inventions such as, big shoes to walk on water with, begin to fail, proving it not to be a piece of heaven on earth!

Blast fro the Past: Tremendous Terence

Whilst working on such comics as Duckula and Dangermouse, it was fun to be asked by writer/editor, Brian M. Clarke to become involved with another Cosgrove Hall character, Tremendous Terence. This showing a page from Count Duckula comic, 1992. A fantastic character to work on, happy days, Brian.

Blast from the Past: The Daily Howl Slimer Comic

Published by Marvel UK, Slimer, as originally seen in the Ghostbusters movie, was a title covering strips about the green ghost offering splat-soaked stories and gungily globular goodies.

One page however offered The Daily Howl, a comic strip produced by my good self regarding a team of horror characters in charge of publishing their own newspaper.

Slimer moved on to become part of The Real Ghosterbusters comic, closing its pages on...issue 13. October 1990. Spooky!

Blast from the Past: My 1st Minnie

Whilst I'll be mainly showing recent and present artwork, because of producing such goodies over the past 31 years, it's fun to look back on various pieces of artwork from past years. Hopefully they'll bring a smile to your face, followed by, "I remember buying that, I was only whatever age at the time!"

I've had the pleasure of producing strips on DC Thomson characters ranging from Bash St. Kids to Dennis the Menace, this however shows my very first Minnie the Minx strip, November 1989.
