Matt strips New Year 1988
Please don't worry, I've not got the year wrong, but whilst checking out some old material, I came across some of the following Matt strips which originally appeared in the 1980s in provincial newspapers, Bradford Telegraph and Argus, also The Manchester Evening News. They were next to an unfinished apple turnover, hmm, yummy!

Orko the Magician
This was certainly a blast from the past when I recently came across this cartoon strip of Orko the Magician. Back around 1986, I was involved in producing artwork for the UK publishers, London Editions Magazines, whereby I would work on such titles as He-Man, Masters Of The Universe, She-Ra, to mention but a small few. As well as drawing some of the main strips, I had the pleasure of equally producing these three panel strips. It was something I enjoyed as my background was also doing daily cartoon strips for newspapers. I'm now suddenly feeling old!

Golden Age Tick 2, Up, Up and Away page 4
Back in 2002, the guys at New England Comics decided to publish The Tick's Golden Age Comic, this done as an homage to the wonderful Golden Age years of 1941-1945. Produced with an acknowledgment, reverence and of course a great deal of fun, we see The Tick's involvement in World War II. Attached are three pages taken from the chapter entitled, Up, Up and Away. This was another one of those times when I enjoyed working with artist, Kevin Atkinson.

2MG check out...the library #1
One of the various publications I have the pleasure of producing cartoons for happens to be a really fun title called, Haunted Magazine. Created by publisher and editor, Paul Stevenson, this is a first class international magazine that is packed with great stories of a spooky nature, full of intelligent wit and humour. Writer, Andrew Wooding and myself, aka Two Men and a Ghost, enjoy the chance of producing a regular four page feature based on the various urban myths of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, this equally consisting of cartoons by you know who! The story featured in the latest issue covers our investigation into the strange, but highly interesting goings-on at the Sheffield City Library. Hope that you enjoy the following three cartoons linked with this. Our sincere thanks to the staff who were really wonderful to talk with and so deeply helpful.
